Asontas emerged from the firm Rothenbuchner & Partner, which was founded by Bernhard Rothenbuchner in 1991. In 2019 Martin Seidl, who then has been a long-standing managing director, joined the firm as equity partner, and Asontas was created. A year later, Silvia Breyer was taken on as an authorized signatory. She has been a partner since 2024 at Asontas.
